
Today is first holiday of our long weekend and sadly I don’t have plan for my 4 days off. So I try to survive during this holiday to do anything and not being bored. 😀 I cooked bihun udang, bihun is rice noodle and udang mean shrimp. Chinese cooking gave many influence to Indonesian cooking, such as noodle. We love noodle so much.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack rice noodle, add hot water
- 1/4 kg shrimp
- 1 carrot, slice thinly
- 3 shallots cloves, slice
- 3 garlic cloves, mince
- 2 spring onion, cut small
- 1 teaspoon chili flake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 fish sauce
- 1/ tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- salt
- vegetable oil
- sprinkle of water
Instructions
- Pinch salt into shrimp sit about 15 minutes
- Heat vegetable oil, add shallot, stir about 1 minutes
- Add garlic, stir another 1/2 minutes
- Add carrot, add sprinkle of water and cover the skillet about 1 minutes
- Add shrimp, stir until shrimp red and cooked
- Add chilli flake, fish sauce, soy sauce and sweet soy sauce, and salt
- Add rice noodle
- Stir until well combine
- Done 🙂
